01What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies help sites remember things about your visit — your language preference, whether you are logged in, which products you put in a basket. This policy also covers similar technologies such as local storage, pixels and SDKs, which we will refer to collectively as "cookies" for simplicity.
02How we use cookies
LOKA tries to keep cookies to the minimum. We use:
- Strictly necessary cookies — to make the site work (load the page, remember your consent choice, keep your quiz answers while you complete the form). These do not require your consent.
- Analytics cookies — to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Only set if you consent.
- Payment cookies — set by Stripe on the checkout page for fraud prevention and to keep your session secure. Treated as strictly necessary only when you proceed to checkout.
We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural retargeting, or social-media tracking pixels.

_ga cookies are set.04Your control
The first time you visit LOKA you will see a cookie banner with three clear options of equal prominence: Accept all, Reject all, and Customise. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off because the site won't work without them. Every other cookie is off by default until you say yes.
You can change your mind any time by clicking Cookie settings in the footer, or by clearing cookies for this site in your browser:
You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing the official browser add-on.
05International transfers
Google Analytics involves data transfers to Google in the United States. Where applicable we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
06Changes
If we add or remove cookies, we update this page and refresh the banner so you can review your choice. The "Last updated" date at the top always shows the current version.
